Re: Nails removed

OK, | will revise to show the maximum we may want...and then we can scale back, if the larger plan turns out to be impractical.

THANKS!

Of course. It took less than an hour, even with removing and reinstalling the cross members. Unrelated, | know | owe you some clarification on how we terminate the fence at the street end.

The issue is that the ground at that end slopes up in two directions so we’re not sure how we'd best install a fence until we try. Our thought is to get the permit to cover the “most” we may need and if topography dictates less fence, we’d only be reducing the fence line within the permit...not increasing it. 1

The fence may or may not have enough rigidity/stability without a return at the street end, but again, we can’t be sure until we install so we’re requesting more coverage so we can reduce if needed. Does this make sense and does the City permit process accommodate for this flexibility? Thanks

Subject: Nails removed Good evening Linda,

Yesterday my wife Diana and | removed the cross members on one section of fence and then removed the six nails that were sticking through. See enclosed images.

We then re-installed the three cross members and shot a video looking down on each of the six section of fence along the property line.

Looking from above, we could see that the orange tape out neighbor had attached to the nails had fallen and we could see no other nails sticking through. We hope this will put this issue to rest.

2746 Grove Street NE Fence PermitFEN21-00107 Revision V5.pdf

Thanks again for your feedback, please now see attached V5.

| have: e

Removed the previous page 5 and replaced it with a new page 5

e

On the new drawing | have used a line drawing tool in Adobe Acrobat to show the MAXIMIUM length we would wish to build. (Please excuse the non-straight line...that is a reflection of my

Acrobat skills, not my fence installing skills. Ld) e

It includes a fence on the front edge, with a gate, and the return to the house.

e

No part of the fence will cross onto the DeKalb County front easement as it runs parallel to

e

These items have been noted using the "Add Sticky Note" function in Acrobat.

Grove Street. e

Once we review the topography we may elect to REDUCE the length of the fence, but not increase it.

Thanks again...please advise once this has been approved and if it has a "shelf life/expiration date" so we can keep this permit open, even as we work to resolve the legal issues we have with our

neighbor.
