density factor
requirement contained in this subsection.
Corrective Action:
Stop work immediately. Obtain the approval of the City Arborist. The property owner must bring the property into compliance within five (5) days. If violations are not corrected within the specified
timeframe, further actions will be taken by the City of Brookhaven, as authorized by State ordinances, in order to achieve compliance. Follow-Up Gn:

| BCO 27-954 Wall/Fence Requirements
Code Reference:
Sec. 27-954(a} Fences and masonry walls may not exceed four feet in height when located in the front yard
or eight feet in height when located in any other {(non-front) yard. Gates may be up to six feet in height in front yards. (b) Gates providing vehicle access shall be set back at least ten feet from the right-of-way or
20 feet from back of curb, whichever results in a greater setback. (c} Fences and masonry wails over three feet in height shall include a column or decorative element at feast every eight linear feet (measured horizontally) to provide architectural variations and eliminate large expanses of blank area. {d} Masonry wail and fence heights are measured from finished grade at the base of the fence or masonry wall to the highest point of the fence or wail. (e) Fence and masonry wail columns, posts and ornaments are permitted to exceed maximum allowed fence and wall heights by up to two feet.
Corrective Action:
The property owner must bring the property into compliance within ten (10) days. if violations are not corrected within the specified timeframe, further actions will be taken by the City of Brookhaven, as authorized by State law and City ordinances, in order to achieve campliance.

MET WITH OWNER ON 10-7-21. FENCE BEING INSTALLED IS PERMITTED
AND BEING DONE PER PLANS SUBMITTED. ROCKS AROUND TREE BASE IN REAR YARD IS NO LONGER AN ISSUE, THEY HAVE BEEN MOVED A CORRECT DISTANCE FROM ANY
EXPOSED ROOTS. PROPERTY LINE DISPUTE BETWEEN NEIGHBORS IS A CIVIL MATTER.
