I hope all is well. The survey and topographical survey were completed. Counsel for both sides is meeting on Wednesday at noon at the property, with the surveyor present, to clearly mark the new boundary line. Once the boundary line is established and the legal description create for it, the permit process for amending the tax maps will be completed. I understand that it has been several months and assure you that all parties would like this closed out as soon as possible. This survey and re-platting was for more extensive than anticipated and required a much larger lead time. As soon as we have the agreement finalized and executed, dismissal will be filed. We will keep you updated and should have a more precise timeline after our meeting this Wednesday.

Any news on the settlement documents? I really do hate to pester, but the judge for whom Judge Irwin was sitting that day (and to whom the case is still technically assigned) is beginning to get impatient to have the thing closed. The estimate a while back was that once the survey was completed it would take another 2 to 3 weeks for 'topography review and permitting process at which time the settlement can be finalized.'
I'm not gonna pretend I know what all is involved in those things, but it seems like it ought to be getting close. Is the end in sight? The assigned judge is extremely hopeful that everything can be completed by the end of the month.

On behalf of Plaintiff Jonathan Sweatman, I can provide you with the following update and minimal progression. Defendant finally arranged for the surveyor to conduct his initial inspection of the property on 10.11.24. I am not sure how long it will take for the surveyor to prepare the survey. In the interim I have not received any written draft settlement agreement from defense counsel.
