I hope all is well! Sally had a beautiful, healthy boy on Easter!! I was just following up to confirm the survey is set for May 3rd? Also, the client is asking what time the surveyor plans on being there. I know there aren't always predictable times when it comes to surveying, but if there's any way to give an estimate so I can follow up with her I would really appreciate it.

Let me know if you need anything prior to the survey and I will happily provide.

Congratulations! I didn't know about maternity leave, I hope all goes well! I will coordinate with Tania going forward. So, our typical "back log / turn around time" being quoted has been 4 months for around 2 years now. We are actually not 4 months backed up but not far from it, and this usually allows us to have a project list that can be managed easier. We have other project managers in the firm, I only handle a small portion of our surveying projects. Most of what I do is litigation oriented, land planning, and business stuff. I usually am able to move things through on a shorter time frame like 6-8 weeks for something of this size. So, knowing a little bit about our schedule and obligations, I'd say that we're looking right around 2-3 more weeks. I'm happy to schedule a time now if that's desirable. If memory serves me correctly we are not needing to give notice to the adjoiner but we are going to make sure that the client is there, correct? I'm not planning on personally going to the site on this one, but I do plan to keep my schedule open so that I can have immediate interaction with the crew, make computations, etc. I have a pretty full next 2 weeks concluding with a day long massive deposition on May 2. I can schedule for May 3 no problem. After that I've got time reserved for a "TBD" special master hearing and college softball playoffs (my youngest), but by the time we get there the unknowns will be known and so we can shuffle easier. Let me know if May 3 works and I'll put it on the calendar now so that it doesn't get lost in the shuffle.
