Good morning and happy Friday. Great timing I just spoke with Gaddy and they can do the field work next Friday, September 20th. I do not have a time yet, but they will need access to the properties (not inside the home). The surveyor said that he would prefer to do the field work before having counsel present and then schedule a time once both properties are surveyed, which includes the topography scans and impervious surface analysis, to meet out a the Property to mark the new property line. I am sending a notice to opposing counsel as well. I agree with the surveyor that marking the current lines and having accurate measurements of both properties in advance of meeting to verify the new line is the best path forward.
Please let me know if you are going to be home on the 20th; you do not need to be present so long as there are clear instructions for accessing the property. I will make sure Gaddy has access to Sweatmans property as well.

Gaddy sent over the formal proposal a few days ago and it has been approved. We will have it scheduled. Further, I just spoke with the Judges staff attorney and the hearing has been cancelled. Judge Irwin, as you might recall, mentioned at the trial that he was a property attorney for the County before being a Judge so he knew why there was such a significant period of time to formalize the survey requirements and settlement. He also mentioned that our estimated timeline of 4-6 weeks is our estimate, but the actual permitting and topography portion of the re-plat is out of our hands. We will do what we can to expedite.
