You are incorrect.

He contacted Brett multiple times regarding this matter beforehand, during,
and after. It is clear Brett did not do his job and notify you.

Similarly, Brett did not order the required court transcript, so I, the
title insurance holder, had to inform Eric that you all have been
mishandling this for months, as it was never ordered until I (the title
insurance holder) brought it up to Eric. This transcript was necessary for
the boundary line meeting with all parties and the surveyor (Brett did not
have it) and to create the final settlement agreement.
