Subject Dear City Clerk:Pursuant to the Georgia Open Records Act, O.C.G.A. § 50-18-70 et seq., this letter serves as a formal written request for inspection and production of records maintained by the City of Brookhaven and/or its Public Works Department.This request specifically concerns the investigation conducted by the City of Brookhaven Public Works Department into storm drains located within the public right-of-way (ROW) at or near the intersection of Osborne Road and Grove Street, Brookhaven, Georgia, as referenced in PRR-499-2025.Accordingly, I hereby request any and all records, documents, data, and materials associated with or referenced in Public Works' Investigation, including but not limited to:All reports, findings, memoranda, summaries, or conclusions generated or received by the City of Brookhaven Public Works Department or its contractors concerning the referenced storm drain investigation;All internal or external communications, correspondence, and emails sent, recieved, and deleted—including those between City staff, consultants, or other agencies—pertaining to the scope, progress, or outcome of the Investigation;All photographs, field inspection notes, engineering assessments, site plans, diagrams, or maintenance logs relating to the storm drain within the public ROW at the above-referenced location;Any and all documentation evidencing the outcome, resolution, or follow-up actions arising from the investigation, including corrective measures, repair orders, or future work recommendations; andAll related communications or records referencing the investigation results or the City’s determinations concerning stormwater infrastructure or drainage issues at or near Osborne Road and Grove Street.If any portion of this request is denied or redacted, please identify each record withheld, specify the statutory exemption relied upon under O.C.G.A. § 50-18-72, and provide a brief written explanation supporting the exemption, as required by law.Please acknowledge receipt of this request and provide either the responsive materials or a written notice of the anticipated production schedule within three (3) business days, as required under O.C.G.A. § 50-18-71(b)(1)(A) of the Georgia Open Records Act.Thank you for your prompt attention and cooperation.Respectfully submitted,

 Please be advised that pursuant to O.C.G.A. Code Section 50-18-71 (d), if the cost of your request exceeds $25, we will contact you with a request for confirmation of payment before providing you with the responsive documents. In accordance to your approval to proceed, we will keep you updated if the time and/or amount of responsive records could cause any delay in production. 

 Also, pursuant to O.C.G.A. 50-18-71 (a) (20), information personal to an individual (such as social security number, unlisted telephone number, personal email address, or cellular telephone number) contained in emails and other records must be redacted.
