Good evening Sarah,
Per your request, please see enclosed plans for the deck and screening it in.
Please note that the variance to the setback is NOT to change the foot print of the deck...we'd like to simply build up on the existing foot print...the set back refers to the NEW Brookhaven setback rules, rather than the OLD DeKalb rules from when the houses were built nearly 30 years ago.

I'll be at home all day tomorrow and available if you have any questions.

I assume you have by now seen the sign in our yard and I'd like to add a few things to that:

   - The phrase on the sign says "reduce the rear yard setback" I wanted to clarify that our plans do NOT call for any change to the setback nor the foot print of the deck...we're simply asking to be able to add "up" and enclosed the space with a roof and screens on the sides. We do not plan to add walls...only screens.
   - I would be delighted to share a copy of our plans so you can see what we're aiming and asking for, if you're interested.

We are keen to get our project back on course and this City review is key to that...so if you have any questions we can answer for you...please do let us know.
