Re: Fence Permit Application - FEN21-00107

Once again, most helpful. We don't see the height changing but we may pull back slightly on one run and do slightly less toward the front of the house. No change in look, size, design, etc., just a little less down the left side of the house to manage the budget with the cost of lumber right now. Thanks again.

Good afternoon Dominique & team,

Regarding our fence permit FEN21-00107, which we delighted to have received, | have two questions:

1.

Once the fence is complete, will it require an inspection and if so, how do we go about scheduling that?

2.

Fora variety of reasons | am considering a metal fence "base stake" rather than setting the vertical posts in concrete. Would this be an issue for you or for my permit? (See attached PDF for specific product info)

Thanks

Hi Dominique,

Thanks for the timely and most helpful update.

One other question...you have sections on the application for contractor credentials, insurance etc., but what if I elect to do the installation myself? I assume that section does not apply?

There's no need to email our neighbor, we are in communication with her now.

Thanks...we'll get our application in very soon.

Your neighbor at 2740 Grove Street was sent a comment letter regarding missing information back in March, and has not resubmitted. Feel free to give her my contact information if she needs assistance. I will also email her.

Let me know if you have any additional questions.

Subject: Fence Permit Application

Dear Dominique,

We are about to submit an application for a fence permit to replace the 30+ year old fence around our property at 2746 Grove Street NE, Brookhaven.

We are aware of the application process and design/aesthetics requirements and will be planning to apply accordingly.

My questions are: e«

Assuming our application is complete, what is a reasonable expectation for the

time to receive a response/approval? e

Our neighbor at 2470 Grove Street, NE, Ms. Sarah Zeeman, had submitted an

application back in March of this year that had stalled awaiting further information. Has that application moved forward or are you still awaiting that additional information? We want to be sure we are in sync with her plans and desires as we complete our application. Thanks

PS, you had been most helpful 12 or 15 months ago as we went through the permitting process for a new screened-in porch on the back of our house. That project is now complete and we're very happy with the result. Our thanks to you and your office for your help with that process.
