Hi, Sarah.

We will fill that hole within the next week or so.    This is the near-term fix to address any trip hazards.

I will be out with our maintenance supervisor tomorrow to assess if that location needs to be over-excavated and backfilled with suitable material.  If that is required, it will occur a little bit later.   We have confirmed that this depression is where google excavated to bore their fiber conduit under Osborne Road.

My neighbor asked if the city was planning to cover or fill the 3rd sinkhole, and I didn't know the answer.
Would the on-call contractor be doing that, and is there a timeframe?
If so, I'll let them know so they can spread the word etc.

I hope you are well.  We received and reviewed the CCTV report of the storm drain network off Osborne Road.    There was not anything identified in the CCTV that is indicative of surface soils migrating through the storm drain.

I am working on scope of work to provide our on-call contractor to 1.) address the soils along the right of way to provide better surface runoff drainage and better support vegetative growth, and 2.) excavate to expose the storm drain here to evaluate previous repairs and any minor fixes that may  extend the service life of the system.

I will provide an update once we have scoped the work for the contractor.
