Brookhaven News, Updates and Resources The Brookhaven Blast Special Edition: Brookhaven News General Election Information Municipal Election Information and Ballot Questions The date of the Municipal Election for the seats of Mayor and Council Districts 1, 2, and 3 is Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2023. Brookhaven voters will also see a second 6-year Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (SPLOST) and whether to continue the suspension of HOST and replace it with an EHOST. More information can be found on these issues here. Voters in Brookhaven municipal elections have the option of advance voting which began Oct. 16.   The advance voting polls will be open Monday–Friday (Oct. 16–Nov. 3) from 7 a.m.–7 p.m.; Saturday (Oct. 21 & 28) from 9 a.m.–6 p.m., and Sunday (Oct. 22 & 29) from noon–5 p.m. The Brookhaven location is at the Lynwood Recreation Center, 3360 Osborne Rd. NE. This site will also have a dropbox location.
