Ms. Zeeman, Thank you for bringing this to our attention.  I talked to the Engineer that was assigned to this.  He was a little surprised to find out the service request had been closed as he did not close it.  It’s an open issue and is being investigated.  They are trying to determine whether there is a problem with the storm pipe or if something else is causing the sinkhole.  Apparently this is not the first time a sinkhole has opened up in the area and that’s why they are evaluating it for other possible problems.  The service request will be reopened and an update will be added.

I'm writing regarding a sinkhole in the Right-of-Way of the Osborne side of 2740 Grove Street NE. I placed a cone on it to assist the COB in locating the sinkhole for repair/maintenance. It is approximately 4ft deep. Request ID# 3337018 was created, and a piece of plywood was placed on it; now, the ticket has been closed, and nothing has been done to remedy and cure the sinkhole.

Could you help me with this matter or direct me to who can?
