Good morning, folks.  Looking forward in seeing some of you tonight for the recognition of Steve.

Time: 6:3O PM. As a reminder, the recognition will be in the early stages of the Regular Meeting of Council starting at 6:30 PM.

Location: Brookhaven City Hall 3rd Floor  (4362 Peachtree Rd NE, Brookhaven, GA  30319)

Unfortunately, the cat is out of the bag.  It appears the “surprise” news made it to Steve.  But all good.  Don’t feel like you have to stick around for the full meeting unless you want to see some sausage being made.  ;)

Dear Friends and Neighbors… and environmental advocates - Please join us this evening to recognize Steve Peters with a Proclamation by the Mayor and Council for all his contributions to the community.  We are trying to keep this a surprise as he is scheduled to join the meeting to hear about some proposed ordinance changes related to fishing.  That may or may not happen, but the important part is this recognition.  Usually, Proclamations are read at the beginning of the Council meeting and we move on to other business.  So, no need to linger afterwards.  Please share with anyone else that I may have missed.  AND AGAIN, PLEASE TRY TO KEEP IT HUSH.  ;)
