To: Linda Abaray linda.abaray@brookhavenga.gov Hi Linda, While at my property on 1/31, both you and Eric noticed and brought to my attention that the storm drain grate (on the corner of Osborne &

Grove) was never fixed, and now we have a lip holding water. Per our conversation and your confirmation to list your name, | made ticket # 2502299. https://prnt.sc/26q5nf3 , The ticket was closed in less than 24 hours, and the grate/lip issue will continue to stay unresolved. | do not have a construction background, and | am not aware of what the unfixed grate/lip repercussions could cause. Would you help me understand what the repercussions could turn into in the future so | know what to be looking for? Thank you!

Ms. Zeeman,

When Eric and | were at your property you showed us the curb you were concerned about. Eric and | had no way to investing your claim while in the field and additionally we explained we were not appropriate department to handle your concern. We advised you that this was an issue for the Public Work Department. At the time of our visit it appeared that the back of the curb was not graded properly. | believe the Public Work Department investigated the concern you submitted and determine that the area was graded in response to address a concern you submitted 2018 (?). You would have to continue your discussion with Public Works copied here about their findings and decision of the case closure.

There were two tickets submitted after Linda and Eric visited the property on 1/31. | was instructed by Linda to create tickets and they were both closed within 24hrs. | added the emails and links below.

Ticket 1 # 2499482 Link: https://prnt.sc/26nxuas Ticket: https:/brookhavenga.citysourced.com/servicerequests/2499482

Thank you for coming out to my home on 1731 with Eric and Murray. As you mentioned, | should make a ticket about the curb, and it was ok to mention your name regarding the curb hazard on Osborne and Grove. | created the ticket on 2/2, and it was closed in less than 24 hrs with no

resolution to the circumstances created by COB's stormwater project. Link: https:/prnt.sc/26nxuas Ticket: https:/brookhavenga.citysourced.com/servicerequests/2499482 Per your instructions, you mentioned sending all concerns to you to coordinate with the team. Thank you so much for your continued

assistance in these matters, and we look forward to the curbs on Osborne and Grove being repaired by COB, making it safer for the public in Brookhaven. Ticket 2 # 2502299. Hi Linda [Quoted text hidden]

Ms. Zeeman, Thank you for your email.

|’d like to provide some detail and history for context.

We did receive both reports, and they were closed after each issue was properly reviewed

On SR# 2499482 Carlos went back to our files, reviewed the history, and explained in the Public Comments area of the system that the maintenance of that area is the home owner’s responsibility. Before he closed it, he noted his findings under the SR, and he added several pictures which illustrated the fact that Public Works did complete the project in 2018, and PW did properly grade the area, added top soil, and seeded the area. At that time, the maintenance responsibilities were communicated to the owner: The Owner should care for that area moving forward.

On the second, SR# 2502299, Carlos visited the area during the rain storm that day, inspected it, and found that there was not an issue that required additional follow-up. Again, he noted in the comments that he had done this and that there were no deficiencies.

Each report was properly handled with a very quick turnaround so that the reports would not linger. The outcome of each was communicated

through our Brookhaven Connect system.

Kindest Regards, Tom

Tom Roberts, PE Public Works Deputy Director

Unfortunately, Cob has mishandled the corner from the start. COB created the disturbance on the entire corner, it was not fixed correctly twice, therefore the entire corner has eroded. If fixed correctly it would have not eroded on all sides of the entire corner. Links: https://prnt.sc/26s69xk https://prnt.sc/26s6bcx. «

COB 100% created this curb situation to a resident

¢

COB is informing the resident they are responsible for correcting what COB caused to all sides of the corner that COB touched.

e

The resident did not create or cause this. COB did, and no other resident on Osborne has been impacted in such a manner and then

https://prnt.sc/26nxuas ?

passed the responsibility to rectify COB's mishandlings. Ticket 2 # 2502299 - Could someone explain what lip-collecting water means? https://prnt.sc/26s66an

Eric brought this to my attention on 1/7 and Linda brought it up again on 1/31? As inquired to Linda on 2/8 what does this mean and what are the repercussions, to look out for in the future if not resolved? Best,

Sarah [Quoted text hidden]
