Ms. Zeeman,
I spoke with Mr. Nicol this morning and he stated that the stop work order is for the drainage issue only as they need to ensure the proper permit is obtained giving specific instruction on how to install the drainage properly. If you require further information please file for an open records request through the City web site.

Keith Colquitt

Ms. Zeeman,
Case number CV21-00377 is not my case so I cannot supply you with any information on that. The Code Enforcement case has been closed as it pertained to the fence permit only. If you will recall, I referred you to the city’s Arborist for clarification on the tree ordinance as it pertains to the rocks that were placed around the base of two trees in your neighbors yard.
Before my initial inspection at 2746 Grove Street I consulted the arborist for direction on the matter and advised the homeowner with what needed to be done based on Mr. Dadisman’s recommendation. I would ask that you contact Mr. Dadisman if you want him to take a look at the rock situation since it really does not fall under the purview of the Code Enforcement department.
Regards,
Officer Flores

Subject: CV21-00377 - 2746 Grove Street NE - Stop work order?
Hi
I saw the neighbor at 2746 Grove Street NE perform construction on the fence this afternoon, and I contacted the police.
The police officer informed me that the stop-work order placed on Friday (then COB was closed for the holiday) and it was lifted at 930am this morning.
What is the status, and how was it lifted?
I was not notified, and I am still delaing the same issues we discussed previously.
All the issues are still here; please advise.
Can you help me understand this process, and what does this mean?
What has he done to now be compliant as I do not see anything fixed?
Best Regards,
Sarah
