Email Body
Hi all,
The communication was comingled onto another email thread, and to clear
everything up:
*A) *Request <https://brookhavenga.citysourced.com/servicerequests/2289318> ID#
2289318 <https://brookhavenga.citysourced.com/servicerequests/2289318> was
a ticket about the fence <https://prnt.sc/1vzqtcd> exceeding the permitted
height, and as of 10/13/21, *the height is still not correct*,* but the
ticket is labeled as closed. *
Within the fence height ticket, Orlando had included comments about tree
ticket # <https://brookhavenga.citysourced.com/servicerequests/2289181>
2289181 <https://brookhavenga.citysourced.com/servicerequests/2289181>, but
they were not entered onto the tree ticket. The comment was *"Rocks around
the base of trees are not in violation."** on the closed fence ticket as
seen here* https://prnt.sc/1vzlmyn
This initiated unanswered *Tree questions* in a 10/8 email to Orlando to
understand <https://prnt.sc/1vzqlgk> Orlando's comment, *"Rocks around the
base of trees are not in violation."*
* The questions to Orlando are still unanswered and include:*
1. *Could you provide the section of the code that this decision is
relying on that could be very helpful to understand it more clearly? *
2. *Can you help me understand how the rocks around a tree are not a
violation?*
3. For edification, how and when is the critical root zone taken into
account and enforced?
*B) Request ID# 2310070
<https://brookhavenga.citysourced.com/servicerequests/2310070> *went
from In Process' to 'Closed.' and nothing had changed, and no comment was
given. Why would that be the case? This is in regards to Construction at
2746 Grove street NE is not built according to the approved plans submitted
to COB on April 8, 2020; instead, a whole new and complete rebuild without
approved plans was built... Impervious space has increased etc.
Hopefully, this clears up the communication, and these are my open
questions requested for clarification; I've added in #5 as it will assist
in connecting all the dots:
1. *What else is required to resolve this (cv21-00377), and what has he
been told to do? *
2. *He was working on the fence yesterday. Can he operate under an expired
permit, or did he get an extension, or maybe two?*
3.* Why does he not have a CO yet?*
4*. All the stormwater issues are still here; he has artificially diverted
the water from his property underground onto the neighboring
property*; what* is
the path to a solution to correct this?*
5.* Request ID# 2310070
<https://brookhavenga.citysourced.com/servicerequests/2310070> Is this
fully resolved? If so*,* can you please provide what was done to be
compliant to **close this ticket with the issues still unresolved?*
Thank you in advance for your attention to this matter.
Best regards,
Sarah
