Ms. Zeeman,
Thank you for supplying this information.
We look forward to reviewing the site plans when they are resubmitted and
being able to approve an acceptable design. We will consider the information
when inspecting the site for compliance. The building permit is still in the review process.
Thank you,

Subject: Re: CV21-00377 - 2746 Grove Street NE - Stop work order?
Murray
Here are two of the tickets submitted to COB in September 2021 - they are listed as closed and were not resolved as listed in the tickets.
* https://brookhavenga.citysourced.com/servicerequests/2289303
* https://brookhavenga.citysourced.com/servicerequests/2310070
2746 never had appropriate drainage plans for:
1. Variance application/approval from 2019
2. Dekalb's sewer easement approval never saw drainage plans.
3. There was no approval from DeKalb county to dig around and burry pipes within 10 feet of the sewer easement
4. The building permit was still issued
5. The expansion was built anyways, and a CO was not awarded
6. A fence permit was issued using the invalid building permit. 2746 then continue to place the unfished side abutting my property. Code enforcement rejected my CE21-01033 and my emails about how 2 fence sides of the 3 abutting properties were done correctly but my side was not and unfished.
7. 2746 site revision was denied 10.29
8. 2746 site revision was rejected 12.1
How many revisions and code violations do the owners of 2746 get while they have made my property unsafe, unusable, hazardous, and has blatantly caused a continued nuisance?
As you can see in the photos/videos, 2746's expansion and increased impervious surfaces (42% coverage well over COB 35%) has created astronomical flooding as they reburied new and additional pipes to where his previous pipes hidden underground had been jet streaming & diverting his stormwater damaging and devaluing my property.
I look forward to hearing your thoughts.
Best regards,
Sarah

Ms. Zeeman,
I have not been involved with the FOIAs.
You may want to communicate with the City Clerk’s office in regards to those requests.
The plan revision process involves plans
That are submitted until the plans are approved.
This may take some time as surveyors are generally behind due to current events.
The City Is waiting for a resubmitted plan .
Could you detail the damage to your property that
Has occurred? The City will try to see what can be done , once we understand what the issue(s) are.
Thank you,
Murray Nicol

Murray and Keith,
I've received no communication on this issue from 84 days ago. 2746 Grove continues to damage my property and is a continued nuisance.
Could I please get a phone call to discuss an update on this matter?
I've put in the FOIAs, and we see two site revisions have been denied; where does this stand today?
Best,
Sarah

Ms. Zeeman,
I spoke with Mr. Nicol this morning and he stated that the stop work order is for the drainage issue only as they need to ensure the proper permit is obtained giving specific instruction on how to install the drainage properly. If you require further information please file for an open records request through the City web site.
