Hi Sarah,

Thank you for sending these over, I will review.

Can you confirm that ATT has left your property or are they still there? Also, were you able to obtain an estimate cost for the property damage?

Thanks!
Katerina

Hi Katerina,

ATT provided me with a copy of the easement that was illegible and I could not read it.

I took off from work togo to the courthouse to look at the recorded document and have attached both AT&Ts and my photos I took on my phone at the courthouse .

Please let me know what the next step would be at your convenience.

Best,
Sarah

Based on what I understand, it looks like ATT is using the word easement interchangeably and somewhat incorrectly. We can also touch base on the phone next week and I can clarify for you.

Have a nice weekend!

Hi Sarah,

Just to clarify… I received three PDF’s from you, one was a photo of the damage, one was a photo of your title policy, and one was a survey that ATT had done by a surveyor. I did not receive an official written easement which allowed ATT/Bellsouth access to the property. Its ok if you don’t have this, I just wanted to confirm that that is the case.

Thank you,
Katerina

Hi Katerina,

I just called att on the phone just now and he said he doesn’t know the real estate laws and doesn’t think there is anything written about crossing over the property. He said their is an easement and referred to the previously attached pdf. I reiterated to him to please send me the original easement in an email as I have never seen the original easement from them.

I’ll send over whatever he sends me and I’ll get damage quotes by licensed repair professionals etc.

Have a great weekend.

Best,
Sarah

Hi Sarah,

Can you please request from AT&T and send me a copy of the written easement that they had the right to pass over your property in the first place? If no such easement exists and they have said that, please let me know as well.

Can you also provide me with an estimate as to your property damage?

Thank you,
Katerina

Hi Sarah,

Could you please send me a copy of the easement from ATT? All I saw that came over with your title claim submission was a photo of your property and a photo of your policy.

Thank you,
Katerina
