Sarah,

I am again following up on the settlement agreement and review of the redlines. Please let me know where this stands; we need this finalized before any settlement checks are distributed and the check from insurance has been held for an extended period of time. It’s been 80 days since receipt of the check from opposing counsel; most checks must be cashed within 90 days.

Further, we have no cause for delay. The Plat is finalized and pending city/county approval and the settlement has been pending your review. If opposing counsel files a motion for sanctions, they will end up winning it and that is something we should avoid at all cost.

Please confirm receipt and provide a timeline for your review of the agreement.
