As you know we are in the process of doing some work on our house and one thing that we are looking to do is to put a screened in area on part of our deck. However, the zoning board declined our application because of new rules for the setback and as a result we will need to apply for a variance, even though we aren't changing the size of the deck.
When Jonathan met with them on Friday, he was told that it would be helpful to have our neighbors show support for our request so we would like to ask for your help with that.

| am also enclosing the same letter as an attachment to this email because | know you travel a lot and may prefer to sign and return it via email.
We do need to have this back by this coming Tuesday March 3rd in order to meet a deadline with the city. We really appreciate your help! Thanks

support for them to modify their existing backyard deck with a screened in area. | believe this will add to the aesthetics of their house and will have a positive effect on the value of the house and of the neighborhood. | have no objections to their proposed plans.
