Dear Ms. Zeeman:

This letter is Stewart Title Guaranty Company’s (“STGC’) response to your email dated June 5, 2025, wherein you requested “the immediate reassignment of counsel,” and your follow up email dated June 9, 2025.

I have consulted with retained counsel, Brett Ledermeier. Mr. Ledermeier stated that he has reached out to you numerous times and has been waiting to receive your feedback on the draft settlement agreement for about two months.

Any delay in responding to him prolongs the

conclusion of this claim. The matter is headed toward resolution. Pursuant to Court’s Order dated March 17, 2015, the Lot Reconfiguration Plan has been submitted for approval by the City of Brookhaven and DeKalb County and is currently under review.

Condition 5(d) of the policy provides that STGC has the right to select counsel.

Accordingly, I

must decline your request. No valid reason for replacing counsel has been provided. Further, substituting counsel at this juncture would be counterproductive and would not serve the goal of advancing this matter to conclusion. Please give your full cooperation (see Condition 5(a)) to Mr. Ledermeier, which includes timely responding to him and providing him with any feedback regarding the settlement agreement that you may have so that it can be finalized and fully executed. Thank you.
